Melatonin and Breast Cancer

April 11, 2008
by

Tim has sent me an interesting article about melatonin as it relates to breast cancer prevention and survival.  I’ve been taking melatonin, about 1mg sublingualy, before bed since last spring. It has really helped with sleep.  Thank God!  I used to be the world’s best sleeper.  That all changed at about 40…sigh

What this article does not say, that I’ve heard from other sources, is that it is important to get bright, natural light during the day.  That means sunlight, no sunglasses, outside.  it helps reset the clock. (and is absolutely fantastic for Vit D production which also helps with cancer prevention and survival)

Anyway, here is the link to the article
