First treatment ok!

Peter the blogmaster here:

Liz is back at the apartment after a long day at the doctor’s. She’s fine, feeling well, and has made it through the first official treatment with no problems.

She’s also really tired and doesn’t have the energy to describe the day in a blog post, so she called and asked me to put up a quick notice for her, since she knows people are reading the blog and doesn’t want you to have to wait for news.

Tim’s well too, but also tired.

She’ll write a post herself later, probably tomorrow. She’s got to go back to the doctor’s tomorrow for a physical in the early afternoon and will try to post in the morning before she leaves.

She’s adapting well to the Chicagoland traffic, which is sane so long as you avoid the toll roads—where it seems the thinking is, they paid their money, they can do whatever they want! Travel time on the local roads seems pretty close to the same, and much less stressful.

    Liz,

I heard about your blog from Stan. I keep you in my prayers everyday.

I hope you are doing well. I have a colleague who is a survivor. She was diagnosed early last year and she is doing great right now.

    Take care,
    Your ‘fishing’ friend.

Agus! How wonderful to hear from you! Stan told me you have salt a salt water tank now…that is a big deal. Hope it is going well.
